Job description

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our receptionist team as a Full Time Customer Service Executive. Applicants must be comfortable with handling animals (mainly dogs and cats) as they will need to receive animals from clients and bring them to the consult or treatment rooms which is part of the daily activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Attending to walk-in and phone call enquires from customers.
  • Providing good and professional customer support.
  • Assisting with reception and administrative duties (patient registration, booking and scheduling of appointments).
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive medical records.
  • Managing over the counter (OTC) prescription sales, stock ordering and inventory check.
  • Dispensing of drugs.
  • Processing and collection of payment and deposits.
  • Assisting to resolve client’s feedback and complaints.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the premises and ensuring that equipments are constantly kept in a clean and tidy environment.
  • Teaming up and collaborating with fellow veterinary colleagues to work as an effective team.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by line manager.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education with minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Graduates/Fresh graduates from local polytechnic with veterinary related diplomas who wish to gradually familiarise themselves with the industry are welcome to apply.
  • Proficiency in English (Additional proficiency in Mandarin is a bonus).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (both in person and by phone).
  • Pleasant and cheerful personality.
  • Comfortable with handling animals and has good appreciation of the human-animal bond.
