Cogent owns one of Singapore's largest one-stop integrated logistics hub, Cogent 1.Logistics Hub. Its subsidiary, SH Cogent Logistics Pte Ltd offers warehousing, freight forwarding, container and ISO tank depot, automotive logistics, and transportation services in Singapore.

Role Description

The Customer Service Officer / Executive will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as shipping documentation, customer service, and order processing for either Warehouse Department or Transport Department.

  1. Actively engage with customers to resolve feedback to ensure high level of satisfaction.
  2. Liaise with customers on container/cargo/material/ inventory and other administrative and customer service duties.
  3. Liaise with internal departments, vendors and third parties to process order requests from customers.
  4. Maintain all shipping and tracking records of customer inventory and movement accurately using customer’s system and our warehouse / transport management system.
  5. Perform shipping permit declaration when required.
  6. Perform billing.
  7. Generate, maintain and submit a variety of reports periodically or as and when required.
  8. Attend to customers’ requests to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  9. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  1. Diploma or Higher Nitec in logistics and supply chain management, or equivalent qualifications preferred.
  2. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  3. Knowledge of Tradenet, warehouse / transport management system is an advantage.
  4. Ability to work in a team environment.
  5. Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  6. Knowledge and experience in shipping, transportation and warehousing operations is an added advantage.
  7. Able to work beyond the official working hours as and when necessary.

Other Information

  1. Working hours: Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 5.45pm; Alternate Saturdays: 8.30am - 12.30pm
