A leading logistics company in Singapore is seeking a Customer Service Executive to coordinate shipments and manage client relationships. The role requires 2-3 years of experience in the freight forwarding sector and involves multitasking and effective communication. The salary package offers between $3,000 - $3,500 plus bonuses.   • Coordinate shipment schedules, bookings, and document preparation for international shipping.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry for tracking shipments and processing orders.
  • Monitor shipments and communicate any delays to clients.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with clients to enhance their logistics experience.
  • Resolve issues that arise during the shipping process effectively.

  • Position Title: Customer Service Executive (Freight Forwarding)
  • Working Location: Jurong East
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday 8.30 AM - 5.30 PM)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $3,000 - $3,500 + AWS + Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate shipment schedules, bookings, and document preparation required for international shipping (air, sea, and road transport).
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry for tracking shipments, processing orders, and providing quotes.
  • Monitor shipments from the point of origin to the final destination, proactively communicating any delays and managing client expectations.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering solutions to enhance their logistics experience.
  • Resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process in a timely and effective manner.
  • Prepare quotation on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Answering customer inquiries, scheduling meetings, and sales appointments.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in inside sales, must be in Freight Forwarding, shipping and/or Logistics.
  • Experience in administration and high-volume office work.
  • Self-motivated with multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office applications, especially excel.
