The primary objective of the Inside Sales team member is to develop and improve Pentagon market share for new and existing businesses.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the sales team in preparing quotations, tender submissions and RFQ proposals for clients.
Verify pricing, terms, and conditions for shipments awarded.
Maintain an accurate level of data quality, ensuring that all systems are kept up to date promptly.
Organize and maintain sales documentation, ensuring accessibility and completeness for reference.
Coordinate with internal departments, such as operations and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales processes and success of the business.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Min Diploma holder
Must have min 2 - 3 years experience in sales support and customer service, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry or any of the Oil and Gas, EPC, and Marine industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis, reporting, and document preparation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach and the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of freight forwarding processes, terminology, and industry trends is desirable.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
