Our client, a leading machine dealer in Singapore specializing in engine and propulsion systems, is expanding their operations and looking for a highly motivated Customer Service Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with department managers regarding machines, customers, and staff-related matters.
- Open and manage work orders to fulfill job requests efficiently.
- Monitor and control work progress to ensure timely completion.
- Raise Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) for third-party services or external work.
- Provide after-sales support to customers and collaborate with internal departments.
- Mobilize service personnel for optimal resource utilization.
- Coordinate and manage tasks assigned to subcontractors.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues when needed.
- Ensure timely closure of work orders and invoicing to customers.
- Offer technical support across the full product range.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of service personnel.
- Supervise and guide team members on warranty SIM reports.
- Ensure compliance with ISO procedures and quality standards.
Requirements:- Minimum Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in heavy equipment or engine systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A proactive team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
