Job description

Our client, a leading machine dealer in Singapore specializing in engine and propulsion systems, is expanding their operations and looking for a highly motivated Customer Service Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with department managers regarding machines, customers, and staff-related matters.
  • Open and manage work orders to fulfill job requests efficiently.
  • Monitor and control work progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Raise Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) for third-party services or external work.
  • Provide after-sales support to customers and collaborate with internal departments.
  • Mobilize service personnel for optimal resource utilization.
  • Coordinate and manage tasks assigned to subcontractors.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues when needed.
  • Ensure timely closure of work orders and invoicing to customers.
  • Offer technical support across the full product range.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of service personnel.
  • Supervise and guide team members on warranty SIM reports.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO procedures and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in heavy equipment or engine systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A proactive team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
