Job summary

A leading semiconductor service company in Singapore seeks a technical support specialist to perform installation and maintenance of semiconductor equipment. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in engineering and strong troubleshooting skills. You'll lead trial runs, provide training, and ensure customer satisfaction. Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, retrofit, startup, inspection, and maintenance of semiconductor equipment.
  • Lead equipment trial runs, investigative tests, repairs, and overhauls.
  • Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, application, and process-related issues, and provide effective solutions.
  • Analyze service and production data to identify problems and recommend improvements.
  • Provide technical training and consultation to customers on equipment use and best practices.
  • Interface with customer teams to deliver timely service support and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Document all service activities and prepare detailed technical reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product reliability and performance.
  • Provide service support to Singapore-based customers, including equipment setup, retrofits, and training.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or higher in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field).
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting and technical skills.
  • Experience in analyzing and resolving complex problems in hardware, software, or systems integration.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor equipment, automation, or related technologies is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with PLS/PRS software products is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
