Job summary
A leading semiconductor service company in Singapore seeks a technical support specialist to perform installation and maintenance of semiconductor equipment. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in engineering and strong troubleshooting skills. You'll lead trial runs, provide training, and ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, retrofit, startup, inspection, and maintenance of semiconductor equipment.
- Lead equipment trial runs, investigative tests, repairs, and overhauls.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, application, and process-related issues, and provide effective solutions.
- Analyze service and production data to identify problems and recommend improvements.
- Provide technical training and consultation to customers on equipment use and best practices.
- Interface with customer teams to deliver timely service support and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Document all service activities and prepare detailed technical reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product reliability and performance.
- Provide service support to Singapore-based customers, including equipment setup, retrofits, and training.
Requirements:
- Diploma or higher in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field).
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting and technical skills.
- Experience in analyzing and resolving complex problems in hardware, software, or systems integration.
- Knowledge of semiconductor equipment, automation, or related technologies is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with PLS/PRS software products is an advantage.
