Job summary

GIORDANO ORIGINALS (SINGAPORE) PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a friendly Retail Assistant to join the Giordano Ladies Wear team. You will provide excellent customer service, assist customers with fashion selections, and help ensure a pleasant shopping experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will understand customer needs, recommend suitable ladies’ apparel, and support daily store operations including stock replenishment, cashiering, and visual merchandising.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE N/O Levels or ITE qualification.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Willing to work 3 rotating shifts.
• Able to work 5 days a week including weekends and public holidays.
• Outgoing, well-groomed, and customer service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Understand customers’ needs and recommend suitable ladies’ apparel, sizes, colour and styles.
• Promote products through upselling and cross-selling to support sales targets.
• Replenish stocks and ensure products are properly arranged and displayed.
• Assist with stock receiving, inventory checks and stock transfers when required.
• Handle cashiering duties, including payment transactions and issuing receipts.
• Assist in shifting store displays and setup visual merchandising.
• Ensure the shop floor, fitting rooms and cashier area are clean, organised and presentable.
• Handle customer enquiries and feedback professionally.
• Work closely with the Shop-in-Charge and team members to ensure smooth daily operation.
• Support promotions, new product launches and other retail campaigns.
