Job description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service & Operations Executive to join our dynamic air cargo team. This role involves handling booking reservations, responding to cargo booking inquiries, and ensuring smooth operational execution for our assigned airline partners. You will play a key role in managing customers and bookings, flight planning, monitoring cargo capacity, and maintaining strong relationships with freight forwarders and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle reservations and respond to inquiries related to cargo bookings, flight schedules, routing, and shipment tracking for assigned airlines.

  • Flight planning and optimization, and post departure reports

  • Post-flight departure closing and verifications using internal systems and Excel.

  • Coordinate with freight forwarders to ensure booking data is current and capacity utilization is optimized.

  • Liaise with the Sales Manager to provide timely updates on capacity availability for assigned airlines.

  • Work closely with airline principals to align with and support company objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key freight forwarders, and Ground handling agents to drive performance and service excellence.

  • Address operational issues pre/post flight departure, and manage any shipment discrepancies effectively.

  • Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:
  • Prior experience in air cargo operations, logistics, or freight forwarding is preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and logistics systems.

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.

  • A team player with a customer-first mindset and attention to detail.
