In this role, you will be the technical advocate for our prospects and customers. You will work to understand their needs and demonstrate how Looker can add value to their data workflows. You will partner with the business counterparts to acquire new customers, expand relationships, and cultivate business growth. You will help shape our product roadmap based on the needs and requirements of the customers.

Qualifications
Job responsibilities
  • Share business intelligence experience to support the technical relationship with customers, including technology advocacy, supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partnering directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Google Cloud.
  • Develop customized presentations, demonstrations and prototypes of our software to communicate use cases and value to the customer.
  • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution on Google Cloud.
  • Educate technical and architectural concepts to a variety of audiences, including developers, architects, IT professionals, customers, partners and cross-functional team members.
Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience working with problem-solving tools or data analysis (e.g., SQL, Python, business intelligence/dashboards).
  • Experience selling or supporting business intelligence tools, and using them to manipulate datasets and databases (e.g., Looker).
  • Experience in a data analytics or data science client-facing role (e.g., consulting/sales engineering).
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin or Korean fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with Looker portfolio or similar technology.
  • Experience in managing and delivering proof-of-concepts focused on the customer value provided by the solution.
  • Experience responding to functional and technical elements of Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Experience in advanced data modeling and analytics, including analyzing data with SQL, Python, or R.
