Job summary

Qualifications

• Assist customers with product enquiries, selection, and purchases.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cashless/cash transactions where applicable.
• Receive, check, arrange, and replenish stocks on shelves and displays.
• Monitor product availability and report low-stock or damaged items to the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product enquiries, selection, and purchases.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash transactions where applicable.
• Receive, check, arrange, and replenish stocks on shelves and displays.
• Monitor product availability and report low-stock or damaged items to the supervisor.
• Maintain proper product labelling, pricing, and merchandising standards.
• Assist with stock counting and inventory checks.
• Keep the retail area, shelves, counters, and storage areas clean and organised.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and arranging goods in storage areas.
• Handle customer feedback and refer complaints or complex issues to the supervisor.
• Follow company procedures relating to safety, security, stock control, and store operations.
• Support promotional activities, product displays, and sales campaigns.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
