Curriculum Developer (Pre Primary School)

Responsibilities

1. Curriculum Design and Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to identify learning objectives and outcomes. Design, develop, and revise instructional materials, including lesson plans, assessments, activities, and multimedia content.
2. Content Creation: Create engaging and interactive learning materials for various formats (e.g., in-person, virtual, e-learning platforms). Incorporate diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
3. Research and Analysis: Stay updated with current educational trends, technologies, and best practices. Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses to inform curriculum development.
4. Quality Assurance: Review and evaluate existing educational content for accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness. Ensure alignment with industry standards and compliance with educational regulations.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with instructional designers, graphic designers, and multimedia specialists to enhance content delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology and interactive elements.
6. Assessment and Evaluation: Develop formative and summative assessments to measure learner progress and achievement of learning objectives. Analyze assessment data to inform curriculum improvements.
7. Training and Support: Provide training and support to instructors, teachers, and facilitators in effectively using the curriculum materials. Offer guidance on instructional strategies and methodologies.
8. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of curriculum development processes, revisions, and updates. Create documentation for end-users on how to utilize the educational materials effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field. Masters degrees are a plus.
• Experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
• Strong knowledge of learning theories, pedagogical methods, Abacus knowledge, and educational technologies.
• Proficiency in educational software, learning management systems (LMS), and multimedia tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
