Curriculum Developer (Pre Primary School)

Responsibilities
- Curriculum Design and Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to identify learning objectives and outcomes. Design, develop, and revise instructional materials, including lesson plans, assessments, activities, and multimedia content.
- Content Creation: Create engaging and interactive learning materials for various formats (e.g., in-person, virtual, e-learning platforms). Incorporate diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Research and Analysis: Stay updated with current educational trends, technologies, and best practices. Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses to inform curriculum development.
- Quality Assurance: Review and evaluate existing educational content for accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness. Ensure alignment with industry standards and compliance with educational regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with instructional designers, graphic designers, and multimedia specialists to enhance content delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology and interactive elements.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Develop formative and summative assessments to measure learner progress and achievement of learning objectives. Analyze assessment data to inform curriculum improvements.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to instructors, teachers, and facilitators in effectively using the curriculum materials. Offer guidance on instructional strategies and methodologies.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of curriculum development processes, revisions, and updates. Create documentation for end-users on how to utilize the educational materials effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field. Masters degrees are a plus.
- Experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
- Strong knowledge of learning theories, pedagogical methods, Abacus knowledge, and educational technologies.
- Proficiency in educational software, learning management systems (LMS), and multimedia tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
