CURATOR (CLUB LOUNGE EXECUTIVE)

About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, the Curator is responsible for delivering personalised and seamless service to guests. Including overseeing daily operations, coordinating guest requests, and maintaining high service standards. The position reports directly to the Haus 65 Manager.

As a Curator, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Delivering Legendary Quality Experience to all guests.
  • Supporting food and beverage and rooms operations at the club lounge.
  • Reviewing arrivals and ensuring preferences and needs are met.
  • Greeting guests into their assigned rooms, ensuring all services are extended promptly and efficiently.
  • Offering welcome refreshments, packing and unpacking, laundry, shoe-shine services, and other guest needs and requests.
  • Providing recommendations for wine and dine, entertainment, tourist attractions, and concierge services.
  • Curating MOWOW experiences for guests, resolving guest feedback, and serving daily amenities.
  • Cooperating closely with in-room dining and housekeeping teams to ensure seamless private dining and cleaning experiences.
  • Acting as a liaison for guests with other hotel departments, promptly responding to calls and emails, and communicating effectively.
  • Addressing security incidents and complaints with the Head Butler and reacting proactively when appropriate.
  • Familiarity with room amenities, layouts, facilities, and services available in the hotel.
  • Promoting and upselling higher-category rooms and hotel F&B outlets.
  • Assisting with departure arrangements and offering a fond farewell.
  • Maintaining friendly rapport with guests to ensure repeat business and goodwill.
  • Being well-versed with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s goals and information.

What we expect from you:

  • Possession of at least a Diploma or higher in Business, Hospitality, Tourism, or Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enjoyment of guest interaction and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
