Job summary

Migrantlink Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to oversee daily operations across the Teacher Preparation Room and two Kitchens, ensuring smooth lesson delivery and safe food handling.

You will manage supplier deliveries, set up kitchen labs, enforce sanitation standards, conduct inventory checks, and support teaching staff during practical classes, with ad-hoc duties as required by the NFS department.

Qualifications

• PSLE Certification required.
• WSQ FSC Level 1 Certificate.
• At least 3 years' experience as a FCE/NFS kitchen assistant in a secondary school.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the kitchen facilities.
• Manage supplier deliveries and verify order accuracy.
• Set up kitchen labs before lessons, including portioning and equipment prep.
• Enforce food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation protocols.
• Conduct routine inventory checks and monitor equipment condition.
• Assist teaching staff during practical classes, guiding safety and prep techniques.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required by the NFS department.
