Title: CTO - Level Role - AI and LLM Expert (Contract to Hire)

Salary: USD 50 - 70K

Location: Remote

We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert in AI and LLM for this role. There is a high possibility of converting this role to a full-time CTO position.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and own all technical aspects of LLM, Machine Learning, and Software Development projects.
  • Demonstrate a strong history as a data architect, with expertise in data modeling, data quality assessment, gap analysis, process review, and improvement.
  • Collaborate with clients, design teams, and fulfillment teams to understand and influence product vision and requirements.
  • Serve as a thought leader and strategy driver for the company in collaboration with the CEO.
  • Translate strategic objectives into an achievable roadmap and action plan.
  • Assess the skills and qualities needed for a high-performing engineering team.
  • Lead by example, participating in development, including writing and reviewing production-level code as needed.
  • Recruit and manage a team of developers, providing mentorship and fostering growth.
  • Manage and execute project plans and delivery commitments.
  • Ensure data security, system integrity, and overall health, including network and server infrastructure.
  • Define and enforce procedures and contribute to setting standards.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong strategic and business mindset.
  • 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience, including expertise in AI, ML, and LLM.
  • 5+ years of team management experience, including managing global teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Experience with healthcare regulations and standards related to IT is a plus.
