Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated CSSD assistant in Singapore to perform decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical devices, ensuring compliance with infection control standards.

You will maintain accurate records, support CSSD operations, follow SOPs, and be capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 10 kg. Rotating shifts and teamwork are expected. Esteemed attention to detail and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, CSSD, sterilization or hospital support is advantageous.
• Able to lift, carry and handle items weighing up to 7–10 kg.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Willing to work on rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical devices.
• Clean and disinfect surgical tools and instrument sets while ensuring compliance with infection control and safety standards.
• Sort, assemble, pack, and label instruments and equipment according to established procedures and checklists.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory of surgical instruments, medical supplies, and equipment.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines to ensure efficient and accurate processing of sterile supplies.
• Support the overall operations of the Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for clinical use.
