Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a cryptography-focused researcher to formulate security problems, design prototypes, and deliver results guiding product lines. The role emphasizes independent research, collaboration with academia and industry, and IP/standardization work in security technologies.

Ideal candidates hold a M.Sc or Ph.D. in a relevant field with 2–5 years of information security or cryptography experience, and strong programming skills in C/C++, Java, or Shell.

Qualifications

• M.Sc or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Cryptography, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 2-5 years of experience in information security or applied cryptography.
• Programming skills in at least one language. C, C++, Java, or Shell codes, etc. Experience in vibe coding / coding agent is a plus.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.
• Self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

• Deep understanding of elliptic curves, bilinear pairing and underline algebra.
• Lattice-based algorithms & post-quantum cryptographic algorithms.
• Blockchain and other distributed ledger technology.
• Privacy protection algorithms such as Homomorphic Encryption, Multiparty Computation & Zero-Knowledge Proofs.
• Symmetric-key cryptography, including white-box crypto algorithm.
• Security Protocols, including security proof, formal verification and AI-assisted auto-generation and verification.
