Job Responsibilities:

CRM Data Analysts are a critical function in any Client Relationship Management (CRM) system. The task of improving the quality of data, merging duplicate contacts, standardising data and resolving discrepancies is one of the most important aspects of implementing CRM. By bringing together clean data of all contacts into a central repository, the CRM Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in enabling an organisation to grow and protect its business, as well as enhance its marketing communications initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

General Data Management

  • Follow and implement current data management processes and procedures, making updates to improve them where possible
  • Work closely with the team to address data quality issues, including review of undeliverable e-mails and marketing lists
  • Conduct ongoing research related to erroneous or incomplete contact data, including contact status, duplicated records, missing e-mail addresses and incorrect mailing addresses
  • Manage the CRM/Data Change Management inbox and user requests
  • Input miscellaneous data into InterAction as needed (ReAction Server, RSVP events additions), including some company profiling
  • Manage data and folder archiving process

List Management

  • Work closely with our marketing team on data imports of lists from seminars, firm events, conferences and other sources
  • Develop lists to support events; and pre/post direct or email campaigns
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of various mailing lists and facilitate the development of international mailing lists and categorisation

Reporting

  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports from InterAction providing information on data quality initiatives, marketing campaign results, leads generation and sales opportunities
  • Work with business development personnel to ensure that the lead management process is being followed and that all reports are processed on a monthly basis
  • Enter leads that come from the marketing campaigns and website into InterAction
  • Assist in the development of relationship intelligence by tracking leads in InterAction against campaign ad identifiers for campaigns including advertising, direct mail/email, web, conferences etc.

Requirements:

  • Minimally 1 year of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of CRM software/applications preferred, ideally using "InterAction"
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of common desktop applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Data Protection and "anti-spamming" regulations and laws would be beneficial
  • Positive personality and strong interpersonal skills
