Angle Recruitment have partnered exclusively with a prominent offshore vessel owner, in the search for a skilled and experienced Crewing Officer to join their team in Singapore.

The company has a significant presence in the offshore industry, and are committed to maintaining the highest standards in maritime operations and crew management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage relationships with crewing agencies to ensure a steady supply of qualified personnel for the company’s offshore vessels.
• Develop and implement effective crewing strategies that align with the operational needs of the fleet.
• Coordinate with crewing agencies to recruit, select, and onboard new crew members.
• Ensure all crew members possess the necessary certifications and qualifications, adhering to international maritime regulations and company policies.
• Maintain and update comprehensive crew records, including training, certifications, and contract details.
• Liaise with vessel captains and other department heads to address crewing needs and resolve any issues.
• Monitor crew performance, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary.
• Ensure crew welfare and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting crewing practices.
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in crewing management within the offshore industry.
• Experience of managing crew for OSV's and PSV's is highly desirable.
• Proven experience managing and coordinating with crewing agencies.
• Strong understanding of international maritime regulations and standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and lead a diverse crew workforce effectively.
• Proficiency in crewing software and other relevant IT tools.
