Job description

The Crewing Manager is responsible for ensuring that all vessels within the Company's operation are fully manned according to the Company's standards, as well as National, International, and Industry requirements. They must establish reliable arrangements for recruiting, training, and updating crew members to maintain efficient and safe operations with competent personnel who are loyal to the Company and its objectives.

Responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring vessels are manned and operated to the Company's standards and meet charterers' satisfaction.
2. Ensuring vessels are crewed in compliance with legislative and Company requirements.
3. Overseeing the performance of Manning Agency Agreements.
4. Organizing the department to effectively manage daily operations and planning.
5. Maintaining and developing up-to-date position descriptions for themselves and subordinate managers.
6. Understanding relevant rules, regulations, codes, and guidance related to their role, including the Company's Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security policies.
7. Planning and proposing staff promotions, compensation, and wage adjustments.
8. Conducting performance audits of engaged manning agents.
