KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- MOM Work Pass (EP/SP/WP) Application: Adhere to procedures including arranging employees' education verification, medical, insurance, and compliance with local MOM regulations. Process, apply, and issue Employment Pass, Special Pass, Work Permits for Marine Employees as required.
- Administration of Employment Agreement: Prepare employment agreements for crew members (Seafarer Employment Agreement).
- Documentation Compliance: Work closely with the overseas Crewing Team to ensure documentation compliance, including vessel joining documents, seafarer employment agreements, and other documentation.
- Coordination with Crew Management Partners: Collaborate with overseas crew management partners to ensure smooth coordination between clients and VGGS. Maintain communication with clients and agents locally regarding work pass applications and operational matters.
- Record Keeping: Update employee records in HR crewing systems and in-house software.
- Compliance and Tracking: Assist in ensuring compliance in all Marine HR areas. Update and track employee and contractor work pass statuses and exemptions using Excel sheets.
- Payroll Processing: Calculate and process monthly payroll for all crew members.
- Leave Management: Prepare and compute crew leave balance statements at month-end.
- Work Pass Monitoring: Monitor work pass cancellations and report timely to IRAS for tax computation.
- Additional Knowledge: Knowledge of MPA system and Harbourcraft vessel handling is an advantage.
- Support: Support the Operations Manager as required.
