About the role

As the Credit Officer (Finance) at VSTECS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD.', you will play a vital role in the company's finance team. Based in the Lavender Central Region, this full-time position will see you responsible for the effective management of accounts receivable and credit control processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely collection of payments and maintain strong customer relationships.

What you'll be doing

  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, credit limits, and collections
  • Liaise with customers to resolve any billing or payment issues, and negotiate payment terms as needed
  • Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers to assess credit worthiness
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer accounts and payment history
  • Identify and escalate any potential credit risks or delinquent accounts
  • Collaborate with the sales and accounting teams to improve cash flow and reduce bad debt
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of credit control policies and procedures
  • What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role, preferably within the Accounting industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve payment issues
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with customers
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
  • Keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to record-keeping
