Job summary

Singtel invites you to join as a Credit Management Associate Business Analyst to support Project New Core, modernising Singtel Group’s O2C, Billing, and Credit Management capabilities. You will work with business SMEs, analysts, project managers, IT teams and vendors to capture requirements and coordinate activities.

This project-support role focuses on documentation, testing preparation, data validation, and ensuring traceability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Approximately 2–4 years of relevant experience in Business Operations, Finance Operations, Credit Management, Accounts Receivable, Business Analysis or project support.
• Basic understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) or Finance processes.
• Experience in documenting business requirements, processes or operational procedures.
• Experience supporting system testing or UAT would be advantageous.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work effectively with different business and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from Credit Management users and SMEs.
• Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, BRT, and regression testing.
• Maintain process flows, requirement trackers and clarification logs.
• Coordinate with IT and vendors on testing issues under guidance.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and training materials.
• Provide project coordination and support for workshops and meetings.

The Credit Management Associate Business Analyst will support the implementation of Project New Core, a strategic transformation programme to modernise and simplify Singtel Group’s Order-to-Cash (O2C), Billing, Customer Management and Credit Management capabilities.

The incumbent will work closely with Credit Management Business SMEs, Business Analysts, Project Managers, IT teams and vendors to support requirements documentation, process reviews, testing, data validation and project coordination activities.

This is a project support role focused on assisting the Credit Management team in ensuring that business requirements, testing activities and project documentation are properly captured, tracked and completed throughout the implementation of Project New Core.

Business Requirements Support

• Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from Credit Management users and SMEs.
• Participate in requirements workshops and working sessions.
• Document meeting discussions, business requirements, decisions and follow-up actions.
• Assist in reviewing existing business processes and identifying differences between current and proposed processes.
• Maintain requirements, action items and supporting project documentation.
• Escalate requirement gaps or inconsistencies to the Business Analyst or Credit Management Manager for review.

Functional and Process Support

• Support the review of functional specifications and solution documents prepared by IT teams and vendors.
• Assist Business SMEs in checking whether documented requirements are reflected in the proposed solution.
• Maintain process flows, requirement trackers and clarification logs.
• Participate in solution walkthroughs and design discussions as required.
• Record business feedback, outstanding questions and agreed actions for follow-up.

Testing Support

Support project testing activities including:

• System Integration Testing (SIT)
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Business Readiness Testing (BRT)
• Regression Testing

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the preparation of test scenarios and test cases.
• Preparing and maintaining test data.
• Executing assigned test scripts.
• Recording test results and maintaining test evidence.
• Logging defects and providing supporting information.
• Tracking outstanding defects and issues.
• Supporting business users during UAT and other testing activities.
• Coordinating with IT and vendors on assigned testing issues under the guidance of the Business Analyst or Project Lead.

Data Migration Support

Assist with data migration and validation activities including:

• Master data checking and validation.
• Data cleansing activities.
• Identification and documentation of data discrepancies.
• Post-migration and production verification.

Credit Management Process Support

Support project activities relating to Credit Management processes, which may include:

• Customer Master Data
• Credit Assessment
• Credit Limit Management
• Payment & Receipting
• Collections
• Dunning
• Statement of Account
• Bad Debt Management
• Write-Off
• Security Deposits
• Reporting & Analytics

The incumbent will primarily provide analysis, documentation, testing and coordination support for the assigned process areas.

Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation including:

• Business requirements
• Process flows
• Requirements trackers
• Issue and action logs
• Test scenarios and test cases
• Work instructions
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Training materials
• Meeting minutes and action items
• Ensure that project documentation is complete, accurate and maintained in the appropriate project repository.

Project Coordination & Support

Support project activities including:

• Requirements workshops
• Project meetings and daily stand-ups
• Testing sessions
• Defect triage meetings
• Data migration activities
• Training preparation
• Cutover preparation

Responsibilities may also include:

• Maintaining project trackers and action logs.
• Following up on outstanding actions with relevant stakeholders.
• Preparing meeting materials and status information.
• Highlighting delays, issues or dependencies to the Business Analyst or Project Lead.
• Supporting coordination between Credit Management users and project teams.

Skills To Succeed
