Credit Controller (full-fledged AR experience/payment chasing/North)

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in Debts Collection & follow up of overdue account
2. Prepare regular & monthly credit related reports to Finance manager/ HOD
3. Assist in monitoring monthly debts collection performance
4. Investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to non-payment of invoices
5. Conduct aged balance review with Finance manager/ HOD to follow up review action
6. Adopt collection best practices and apply relevant collections strategies to enhance effectiveness
7. Recommend improvements of credit risk measures, controls and processes
8. Any other duties as assigned
9. Evaluate new credit requests and conduct client credit checks
10. Suggest and implement terms of credit for new clients
11. Negotiate payment plans and collection
12. Respond to client inquiries
13. Liaise with customers (internal/ external) to build and foster strong relationships

Requirement:

1. Diploma holder in Finance Background related
2. 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in credit control
3. Comfortable to visit office to chase payments
4. Service oriented and results driven
5. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skill team player
7. Ability to manage multiple initiatives and to work under challenging and demanding circumstances to meet deadlines
8. Able to deal with problematic clients
9. Independent, fast learner with minimum supervision
