CREATIVE GROUP HEAD

BLKJ Havas is looking for a Creative Group Head (copy-based) to bring bold ideas to life and drive high-quality creative output across integrated campaigns. You're a concept-first copywriter who gets excited about cracking the brief, pushing boundaries, and making the work as strong as it can be.

You’ll work closely with creative teams, strategists, and art directors to shape campaigns and craft compelling stories that connect with audiences across platforms — rolling up your sleeves to write, refine, and ensure the work is both strategically sound and creatively sharp.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with Art Directors to develop and deliver breakthrough creative concepts, grounded in insight and strategic thinking.
  • Serve as the lead copy voice across assigned brands, ensuring consistency in tone, message, and storytelling across touchpoints.
  • Work hands-on to write and edit everything from campaign platforms to scripts, social, digital, OOH, and more.
  • Help sell ideas — presenting creative work clearly and confidently to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Mentor junior creatives, giving constructive feedback and helping guide their growth.
  • Stay ahead of industry and cultural trends, bringing fresh thinking and inspiration to the team.
  • Contribute to a creative culture that’s collaborative, proactive, and passionate about making great work.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of copywriting experience in a creative or advertising agency.
  • A strong portfolio that shows both concept development and exceptional craft in writing.
  • Experience working across fully integrated campaigns (TV/video, digital, social, OOH, etc.).
  • A knack for storytelling, sharp headlines, and strategic thinking.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills — you work well with others and know how to take feedback and make the work better.
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort juggling multiple projects and priorities.
  • A natural team player who thrives in a collaborative creative environment.
