We are recruiting a ‘Creative Fragrances Manager (CFM) Fabric Care Southeast Asia’ to join our Fragrances Consumer Products Evaluation team in Singapore, offering excellent personal and professional development opportunities.

The CFM is an olfactive development specialist whose primary goal is to guide Perfumers in the fragrance development process. This role requires a good understanding of the market, consumer behavior, and preferences, as well as the ability to analyze current olfactive trends and forecast future ones. You will oversee the fragrance development process alongside Account Managers, Perfumers, Marketing, Consumer Market Research, and Laboratory experts.

The Creative Fragrance Manager will report to the Category Director Fabric & Home Care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Helping define and implement development strategies and processes.
  • Defining and driving the olfactive vision and strategy for assigned brands.
  • Driving creation and development of proactive initiatives in Fabric Care categories.
  • Managing multiple complex briefs and developing or selecting fragrances according to guidelines.
  • Prioritizing fragrances for testing and translating CMI results into olfactory guidelines.
  • Collaborating with the lab on testing product stability and troubleshooting.
  • Liaising with regional creative centers to complete projects.
  • Driving cross-regional project team engagement.
  • Collaborating with the commercial team to interpret business needs.
  • Anticipating market tastes and working with marketing on proactive concepts.
  • Analyzing new products to identify interesting notes for development.
  • Identifying olfactive and conceptual white space opportunities with marketing teams.

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of fragrance evaluation experience across categories and regions.
  • Functional expertise in core fragrance development with an innovative mindset.
  • Deep knowledge and proven experience in evaluation, especially in Fabric and Home Care.
  • Strong consumer insights translation skills for olfactory guidelines.
  • Experience in olfactory analysis of new products.
  • Knowledge of key brands and customers in Fabric Care globally.
  • Technical knowledge of fragrance stability and behavior in various bases and formats.
  • Ability to execute projects efficiently and autonomously, prioritizing effectively.
  • Excellent presentation skills and clear communication.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
