Job summary

The Department of Statistics Singapore is offering a 5-month internship focused on marketing communications. You will engage stakeholders through channels, learn to conceptualise and produce content that publicises official statistics, and gain hands-on experience in creative storytelling.

You will assist in creating social media materials, visuals, and short videos, while staying current with trends and tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge in media and design, marketing, or related creative areas.
• Strong writing and data storytelling skills with familiarity in graphic design and video editing.
• Awareness of social media trends and willingness to use AI to improve workflows.
• Diploma students are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conceptualisation, creation and amplification of marketing materials for social media and publicity platforms.
• Support dissemination of Department of Statistics data and services through visuals and storytelling.
• Collaborate with teams to produce engaging graphics and short videos.
