Your future position

Creative Centre Director APAC, Fragrance & Beauty – Your future position?

As a Creative Centre Director (CCD) for Fragrances, you will coordinate the development teams (Evaluation, Marketing, Consumer Market Insights, Creation & Application laboratories) to provide the Consumer Products and Fine Fragrance business units with high-quality service and added value. You will build and maintain a development structure and processes to deliver fragrance solutions that will support business growth as we look forward to delivering on our 2030 strategic targets and beyond. You will develop, lead and inspire teams to deliver the targets. You will represent the whole of APAC within the global CCD network, having the SEAO Development organization directly reporting to you with a dotted line responsibility for China and Japan Development organization ensuring we maintain the collaboration, talent development and expertise sharing within the region that is a key pillar of our success and the global Development strategy.

Reporting to: Regional Head of Fragrances APAC, Fragrance & Beauty

Your responsibilities
  • Develop a short and long term vision to lead the teams in alignment with the regional goals and Fragrance business vision.
  • Through intelligent resource allocation and proactive fragrance development programs, drive an increase in net win value in collaboration with commercial and creation & development teamsteams.
  • Help develop long-term strategies with Development, Innovation and Commercial teams.
  • Drive cross category market and consumer understanding for all key categories.
  • Communicate global development guidelines to teams and ensure aligned messages are communicated to all internal commercial and development stakeholders.
  • Design and develop effective indicators and performance measures for the team.
  • Collaborate with Global Creative CentreDirectors and Global Head of Development Consumer Products and FF to develop, establish and execute 2030 Strategy for APAC and for global development, ensure best practices sharing and leading key initiatives / projects.
  • Build and maintain strong business partnership with Regional Head.
  • Overview and ensure the effective allocation of resources to briefs.
  • Leading the digital transformation and establishing new development models in the context of evolving L&R growth and landscape
  • Build and maintain partnership with commercial and creation & development teams.
Your profile
  • University Degree/Business/Chemistry/Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 15+ years’ experience in the Fragrance industry.
  • Passion for the Fragrance Industry, demonstrate competent olfactory skills, ability to recognize olfactory notes and communicate in fragrance language.
  • Ability to translate stakeholder’s requirements into effective actions, thrive on cross-functional and cross category collaboration.
  • Deep passion and curiosity for the business and customer, analytical skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver a strategic vision for the future.
  • Experience leading and motivating multicultural and cross functional teams.
  • Ability to engage team and work for developing talents and future succession.
