Crane Service Engineer

• Salary range: $5000 - $6000

• Working hours: Monday – Friday (8am – 5pm), Saturday (8am – 12pm)

Job Scope

• Conduct on-site troubleshooting and repairs of deck cranes, grabs, windlasses, hatch cover hydraulics, and davits.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of electro-hydraulic operated machinery, including proficiency in reading and interpreting electric and hydraulic diagrams, to independently resolve electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.
• Supervise teams of mechanics during extensive repair projects, both onboard vessels and in shipyards, ensuring effective communication with clients and the delivery of comprehensive technical reports.

Requirements

• Diploma in Marine Engineering or other relevant discipline
• 5 – 7 years of relevant experience
• Experience with variable frequency drives (VFD) is an advantage
