Qualifications

• Able to assist in crane barge mooring operation.
• Holding a lifting supervisor certificate.

• Carrying out maintenance on barges.
• Assisting in survey work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain barge/crane and all equipment on deck.
• Ensure safety of all crews.
• Operate floating crane to lift/move equipment and cargo.
• Inspect crane for defective parts.
• Clean and maintain crane.

Job description

• Maintenance of barge / crane and all equipment on deck
• Proper manning of vessel
• Ensure safety of all crews
• Cover duty of Barge Master when he is away
• Operates floating crane to lift / move equipment, cargoes, anchor chain, slings etc.
• Inspect crane for any defective parts and inform the Barge Master
• Cleans and maintains crane
