Job Title: CPS SG R&D Operations Scientist
Location: Tuas, Singapore

Job Responsibilities:
Supporting new product development through scientific research, prototype development, analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to innovate and ensure product safety and quality.
Key Duties:
- Develop lab prototypes and conduct sensory and analytical tests.
- Design, evaluate, and optimize product prototypes against technical specifications.
- Provide expertise during production trials and collaborate with plant and bottling partners.
- Perform chemical analyses and prepare samples for testing.
- Design and evaluate experiments for new ingredients, products, and processes.
- Document findings and support decision-making with detailed reports.
- Participate in cross-departmental projects and initiatives.
- Manage product development from concept to finalization, coordinating with technical and marketing teams.
- Leverage scientific knowledge and literature to innovate within project scopes.
- Ensure product safety and quality through application of food science principles.
- Lead project meetings and mentor junior staff.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Food Science, Chemistry, or related; Master’s preferred.
- 2-3 years in beverage product development.
- Knowledge of flavor chemistry, distillation, extraction, blending, and key ingredients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with chromatography data systems.
- Strong communication skills for technical reporting and presentations.
- Ability to handle proprietary information responsibly.
- Project management skills are a plus.
