Job Scope:

• Create visually striking, performance-ready costumes for characters and mascots.
• Lead, guide, and mentor a team of costume makers, stylists, and wardrobe professionals.
• Collaborate closely with creative directors and production teams to ensure costume designs align with the overall brand and project vision.
• Manage the entire costume design process—from initial sketches and sourcing materials to fittings, construction, and final quality checks.
• Oversee production timelines and budgets to ensure efficient and timely delivery.
• Ensure all costumes are not only visually impactful but also functional and durable—whether for stage, screen, or live interaction.

Requirements:

• A compelling portfolio showcasing originality, keen attention to detail, and a strong sense of theatrical or character-driven design.
• A diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Costume Design, or a related discipline (such as from NAFA, LASALLE, or a similar institution).
• Proven ability to lead a creative team while staying hands-on and focused on practical solutions.
• Solid understanding of costume construction techniques, tailoring, fabric manipulation, and finishing processes.
• Proficiency in design software and tools, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Previous experience in costume or mascot production, theatre, live events, or performance-based design environments.
• A highly creative mindset with a passion for bold silhouettes, imaginative concepts, and sculptural costume design.

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm

Working Location: To be based in Batam to work closely with the costume department.

Salary: Up to $2,500 - $3,300
