Costing Manager / Tender Manager | Senior Quantity Surveyor | QS | Up to $6k | 5 Days | Changi

• Office based: CHANGI BUSINESS PARK {Expo MRT}
• Mon to Fri, from 8.30am to 5.15pm
• Salary is $4,000 - $6,000 + 14 AL + Variable Bonus [ No AWS ]

Current project: Healthcare construction in Outram Park and Logistics Hub at Tuas, new project location to be confirmed. [ Main Contractor ]

Requirements: Degree holder with at least 3 years experience in main contractor industry.

Job Scopes:

1. Prepare measurements and tender documentation
2. Analyse Building Information Modelling (BIM) models to validate cost plans
3. Edit contract bill & Analyse schedule of rates
4. Draft preliminaries and trade preambles
5. Review technical specifications prepared by technical consultants
6. Analyse measurements, admeasurements, and re-measurements
7. Drive cost planning and control & Review cost analyses
8. Review outline and detailed approximate cost estimates
9. Analyse cost plans and detailed budgeting
10. Review cost-in-use studies and life-cycle costing of building and installation and/or components
11. Review cash flow projections
12. Review cost checking processes during design development
13. Interface with relevant stakeholders to advise alternative designs or methods of construction
14. Review periodic cost reports
15. Define tender and procurement strategies
16. Carry out pre-qualifications
17. Implement procurement strategies
18. Review documentation to invite tenders from contractors, specialists or sub-contractors on a competitive or negotiated basis
19. Evaluate tender returns
20. Manage post-contract administration
21. Advise on payment regimes
22. Analyse claims on behalf of relevant parties
23. Review valuations and recommendations for interim payments to contractors, specialists and sub-contractors
24. Review and price assessment of variation cost claims
25. Review final accounts
26. Conduct contractual risk evaluations
27. Lead project meetings
28. Support the development of dispute resolution strategies
