Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Cost Lead – Finance professional to oversee and manage cost operations for large-scale projects. This senior-level role demands expertise in project costing, cost analysis, invoicing, and timesheet management, with a strong foundation in project management principles. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic partner to both finance and project teams, ensuring financial accuracy, cost control, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end project costing for large-scale initiatives.
  • Analyze project costs, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Oversee timesheet tracking and validation processes to ensure accurate labor cost allocation.
  • Prepare and review client invoices, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission.
  • Provide detailed cost reports and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to ensure budget adherence.
  • Develop and implement cost control processes and best practices.
  • Support project financial forecasting and budgeting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and contract terms.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in cost management, financial analysis, or project finance.
  • Proven experience managing costs for large and complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and financial reporting.
