Job summary

A leading company in project engineering is looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to develop cost estimates, manage tender processes, and provide cost-related input. You will work independently while contributing to project success through effective budget management and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Tendering/Costing.
• Strong technical background in pre- and post-contract duties.
• Good working knowledge of forms/conditions of contract.

Job Description:

• Developing detailed cost estimates for various projects.
• Prepare tender documents, analyze bids, and manage the tendering process
• Monitoring project expenditures and comparing them against the approved budget.
• Participating in project meetings and providing cost-related input.
• Communicating cost-related information to stakeholders, including project managers, senior management, and clients.
• Advise on legal and contractual matters related to the project.
• Prepare progress claim and variation order claim etc.

Requirements:

• Recognized Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical & Electrical Engineering with relevant working experience
• Possess minimum 2 years of working experience in Project Tendering/Costing experience.
• Strong technical background with sound knowledge of pre- and post-contract duties
• Good working knowledge of forms/conditions of contract
• Able to work independently and be a good team player as well
