Our client is a well established consumer firm and we are looking for a Cost Controller to join their team.

About the job
Reporting to the Financial Controller, we are seeking a meticulous and proactive professional to lead cost control operations across all F&B outlets. This role is responsible for inventory management, pricing analysis, and cost reporting, and requires close collaboration with chefs and outlet managers to ensure accurate recipe costing, profit margin assessments, and regular analysis of consumption and yield. Key responsibilities include the preparation of bi-weekly cost reports, conducting monthly stocktakes across bars, restaurants, and storage areas, and ensuring accurate data entry in relevant systems. The role also supports menu performance analysis, POS system updates, cost forecasting, and inventory reconciliation. Additional duties include monitoring open purchase orders, guiding teams on portion control and discount analysis, and contributing to financial reporting processes. The position also plays a supporting role in receiving and store operations and requires adherence to departmental policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, grounded, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Skills and experience required

A recognised degree in Accounting, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification, with at least 3 years of relevant costing experience. Candidates who are able to start on short notice would be highly advantageous.
