Job summary

MK GLOBAL BUILDERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications, and to develop cost estimates, BOQ, and tender documents for projects in Singapore.

You will review drawings for cost implications, issue tenders, obtain quotations, and evaluate them for recommendations. The role involves managing contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders, monitoring payments and costs, maintaining records, and preparing monthly

Qualifications

• Experience in quantity surveying or related field is preferred.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with construction drawings and BOQ/tender processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents.
• Review project drawings and identify changes affecting costs.
• Prepare and issue tender documents to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Obtain and compare quotations.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and prepare recommendations.
• Assist with subcontractor selection and negotiations.
• Prepare, review, and manage contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Monitor contractual obligations, payment terms, and project costs.
• Maintain proper records of contractual documents.
• Prepare monthly progress claims and valuations.
• Assess subcontractors' progress claims.
• Verify completed works and quantities before payment certification.
• Monitor payment status and outstanding claims.
• Prepare and negotiate final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
• Reconcile quantities, variations, claims, and payments.
• Ensure all contractual financial matters are properly closed.
