Cost Accountant

Job Descriptions:

1. Prepare journal entries and audit schedule for approval of FM.

2. Close monthly management accounts and yearly accounts for all companies and pass to FM for review.

3. Check monthly inventory report from procurement.

4. Handle Costing Reports monthly and other reports if requested.

5. Handle and maintain AP, AR & GL of the account.

6. Process payments in an accurate and timely manner, filing and documentation with the payment vouchers.

7. Ensure inter-company transactions and balances are reconciled.

8. Assist to prepare GST report.

9. Work closely with business units for smooth daily accounting operations.

10. Liaising with suppliers or bankers when necessary for operation banking matters.

11. Support in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.

12. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

13. Maintenance of accounting system.

14. Assist in any ad-hoc assignment and reporting.

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma/Degree/equivalent in Accounting.

2. Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience with full sets of accounts.

3. Good knowledge of accounting concepts and double entries.

4. Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Navision preferred.

5. Independent, a strong team player, meticulous, well organized.

6. Meticulous, detail-oriented, independent, and accountable.

7. Good communication skills required to liaise with internal and external parties.
