Job summary

A leading travel agency in Singapore is seeking a Travel Operations Specialist. In this role, you will manage travel inquiries, liaise with airlines, and handle operational tasks like bookings and invoicing. Candidates should have a diploma in tourism or hospitality and at least 3 years of experience with GDS systems. Proficiency in both Japanese and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality studies or relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of GDS experience (especially Sabre).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Job Description:

• Attend to travel enquires and feedbacks through phone calls & emails
• Liaise with the airlines & overseas JTB offices for the operational works
• Source for suitable fligh, hotel and travel insurance
• Handles travel operations including checking quotations, booking reservations, purchasing of travel insurance, issuing ticket and hotel vouchers and invoicing
• Manage and maintain traveler profiles in the system
• Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the Company from time to time

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality studies or relevant field
• Minimum 3 years of GDS experience (especially Sabre)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High communication skills in Japanese and English languages to liaise with Japanese clients and counterparts
