Job Description:-
The Corporate Technology Assistant supports the ICT Manager by providing technical assistance and administrative support to ensure smooth technology operations across Altrad's Singapore businesses. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with technology deployments, maintaining ICT inventories, supporting ICT audit activities, and helping end-users with their basic technology needs.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Maintain, update, and audit ICT asset inventories, ensuring all hardware and software are accurately recorded, tracked, and compliant with ICT policies.
- Document technical procedures, user guides, and troubleshooting steps to support the ICT knowledge base.
- Support periodic ICT audit and asset tracking activities to ensure compliance and accurate record-keeping.
- Monitor technology performance and report recurring issues or risks to the ICT Manager.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer software and hardware components.
- Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, or in-person for troubleshooting basic issues with computers, printers, mobile devices, and other technology equipment.
- Support software updates, patch management, and system upgrades as directed by the ICT Manager.
- Assist with setting up new employee workstations, including hardware setup, software installation, and access permissions.
- Help coordinate technology projects, including testing and deployment phases.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of company information and ICT systems.
Qualifications:-
- Associate's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong communication and content writing skills
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Windows and/or Mac operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing environments.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Customer-service oriented mindset with patience and professionalism.
Working Conditions:-
- Office environment with occasional requirement to lift or move ICT equipment with the support personnel.
- May require occasional after-hours or weekend support for critical issues or projects.
- Standard working hours are Monday to Friday
- One day of work-from-home is provided, subject to the nature of the activities undertaken.
- All other standard benefits are provided as part of the employment contract.
