Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and Companies Act.

Job description

We are currently expanding and looking to hire a Corporate Service Manager under our Managed Services arm.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership and manage a portfolio of clients.
  • Be responsible for client management, client retention, and driving the managed service business, including Accounting, Tax, and Corporate Secretarial works.
  • Oversee, assist, and coordinate the preparation of managed service deadlines and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction and compliance with ACRA (Bizfile) and IRAS requirements.
  • Collaborate with partners and team members to provide solutions.
  • Independently communicate with new clients, understand their requirements, and propose solutions, scope, and fees.
  • Liaise with statutory bodies, banks, and other third-party business partners as needed.
  • Manage and build client relationships by acting as a well-rounded business advisor, especially in Corporate Secretarial works, Accounting, and Tax.
  • Perform other incidental tasks as assigned.
  • Support and coach new team members.
  • Handle other ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

  • Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent.
  • At least 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting, finance, and some corporate secretarial work.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently with high accuracy and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of the Companies Act, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good client servicing and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and under tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and a good team player.
  • Flexible and adaptable in various working styles.
  • Preferably ACCA/CA/CPA qualified.
