Job description

Job Overview:

Successful candidate will support the legal department of a Bermuda company listed on the NYSE, with a main operating subsidiary in China.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare necessary documents re. management, board and shareholders’ minutes, resolutions, etc.
  • Maintain corporate records and ensure proper documentation control
  • Handle internal/external requests for corporate information (auditors, regulators, financial partners, etc.).
  • Facilitate earnings calls, press releases, regulatory filings, and website updates.
  • Provide guidance on corporate governance and best practices.
  • Manage departmental invoices, administrative services negotiations, and assist with budget reporting.
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned by seniors.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin (required for effective communication with Singapore and Chinese stakeholders)
  • Proven ability to work proactively with attention to detail and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and in teams.
  • Flexible for occasional short business trip to China.

Education & Experience:

  • Diploma/Degree in Law or equivalent, and/or corporate secretarial qualification.
  • Relevant experience in legal or corporate secretarial work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PDF tools).
