A leading Chinese global bank with a strong presence in Singapore is seeking an experienced Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to join their team, specializing in Chinese Large Corporates. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Chinese large corporate clients, delivering customized corporate banking solutions such as trade finance, corporate loans, and cash management.
  • Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities to drive business growth across various banking products and services.
  • Prepare and present detailed credit proposals and financial assessments in Mandarin and English, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and manage a credit portfolio, applying sound credit risk management practices.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments (credit, compliance, operations) to structure deals that meet client needs.
  • Stay updated on the latest market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitor activities impacting Chinese large corporates.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager or similar, with a focus on handling Chinese large corporates.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate banking products, including trade finance, loan syndication, cash management, and cross-border financing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is essential, both written and spoken, as you will need to prepare credit papers and communicate with Chinese-speaking clients.
  • Proven track record in managing credit portfolios, assessing financials, and preparing in-depth financial analyses.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills to build long-lasting client partnerships.
