A leading company in the hospitality sector is seeking a Project Manager to oversee technical project development, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance. The role requires extensive collaboration with stakeholders and management of project documentation and reporting. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of managerial experience in the hospitality or real estate industry.
Project Management
Oversee and manage technical project development, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets and quality standards
Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and stakeholders to gather project requirements and define project scope and objectives for projects
Design Oversight
Provide guidance on design aspects of projects, ensuring alignment with brand standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Review and approve design concepts, drawings, specs to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements
Technical Expertise
Provide solutions and recommendations to ensure project success
Stay updated on industry trends and regulations
Stakeholder Coordination
Collaborate with internal depts, including Asset Management, Leasing, corporate contracts & procurement, Ops, Finance, Marcomm, HR, property maintenance to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables with organizational goals
Liaise with external stakeholders such as architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, to facilitate effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle
Quality Assurance
Implement quality assurance measures to monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations from project requirements
Conduct regular inspections and reviews to ensure compliance with design specs, safety standards and regulatory requirements
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate project documentation including design drawings, technical specs, progress reports and project files
Prepare and present regular updates and reports on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators to Asset Management
Team Leadership
Provide guidance to junior team members to enhance skills and capabilities in design and technical project management
Others
Participate in company's sustainability effort for the environment and being an inclusive employer.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field
Min 5 years in managerial position in design and technical project management preferably in the hospitality or real estate industry (owner side)
Strong knowledge of architectural and engineering principles, building codes, construction standards
Excellent project management skills with ability to plan, organize and execute complex projects within defines timelines and budgets
Proficiency in Autocad as minimum
Leadership and team management abilities with proven track record of delivering successful project outcomes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify issues, evaluate options and implement effective solutions
Detail-oriented with commitment to quality and excellence in project delivery
