Project Management

  • Oversee and manage technical project development, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets and quality standards

  • Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and stakeholders to gather project requirements and define project scope and objectives for projects

Design Oversight

  • Provide guidance on design aspects of projects, ensuring alignment with brand standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practices

  • Review and approve design concepts, drawings, specs to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements

Technical Expertise

  • Provide solutions and recommendations to ensure project success

  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal depts, including Asset Management, Leasing, corporate contracts & procurement, Ops, Finance, Marcomm, HR, property maintenance to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables with organizational goals

  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, to facilitate effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle

Quality Assurance

  • Implement quality assurance measures to monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations from project requirements

  • Conduct regular inspections and reviews to ensure compliance with design specs, safety standards and regulatory requirements

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate project documentation including design drawings, technical specs, progress reports and project files

  • Prepare and present regular updates and reports on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators to Asset Management

Team Leadership

  • Provide guidance to junior team members to enhance skills and capabilities in design and technical project management

Others

  • Participate in company's sustainability effort for the environment and being an inclusive employer.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field

  • Min 5 years in managerial position in design and technical project management preferably in the hospitality or real estate industry (owner side)

  • Strong knowledge of architectural and engineering principles, building codes, construction standards

  • Excellent project management skills with ability to plan, organize and execute complex projects within defines timelines and budgets

  • Proficiency in Autocad as minimum

  • Leadership and team management abilities with proven track record of delivering successful project outcomes

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify issues, evaluate options and implement effective solutions

  • Detail-oriented with commitment to quality and excellence in project delivery
