About the job

Google's legal department is at the center of an information law revolution, and you're at its core. As a Legal Assistant, you are instrumental in the success of your Legal team, contributing to creating and improving processes, maintaining records, conducting legal research, and coordinating communications across the team. You will work with multiple groups within the Legal Department, internal clients across Google, and external parties. You are an independent thinker, organized, and detail-oriented.

In this role, you will support the Legal Department on various legal and administrative matters within a project scope. You will serve as a point of contact for internal and external clients, prepare preliminary drafts of legal documents, create process documentation, and lead training sessions. You will manage projects and legal/business matters of low to moderate complexity, including managing information and documentation, conducting legal reviews, advising on risks and solutions, and improving processes. You will interact with multiple groups within the Legal Department, internal stakeholders, and external parties, effectively communicating legal and operational needs.

Responsibilities
  • Manage corporate expansions, liquidations, integrations, and compliance for Alphabet subsidiaries in the APAC region.
  • Plan and coordinate board/shareholder meetings, prepare related documents, take minutes, maintain records, and handle filings.
  • Assist in preparing legal documents and process documentation, and lead internal training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with processes and policies, provide guidance, and perform corporate housekeeping tasks such as document tracking, routing, filing, and logistical matters.
