Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership is seeking a seasoned corporate finance professional to evaluate investment opportunities and build sophisticated financial models in a fast-paced environment.

You will conduct market research, support end-to-end transactions, and coordinate with external advisors to drive value for portfolio companies and investors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance/related field.
• CFA/CA/CPA/MBA advantageous for progression.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate investment opportunities via financial and commercial due diligence.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions, LBO).
• Conduct industry, market, and competitor research to identify trends.
• Support end-to-end transaction execution (acquisitions, divestments, JVs, partnerships).
• Coordinate with external advisors throughout transaction processes.
• Prepare periodic performance reports for management and investors.

• Evaluate investment opportunities across various industries through financial and commercial due diligence.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models including DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and LBO models where applicable.
• Conduct industry, market, and competitor research to identify investment opportunities and emerging trends.
• Support end-to-end transaction execution including acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
• Coordinate with external advisors including investment banks, legal counsel, auditors, and consultants throughout transaction processes.

Corporate Finance

• Support corporate strategy through business case development and financial feasibility studies.
• Perform company valuations and scenario analysis for strategic initiatives.
• Assist in capital raising activities, debt financing, and refinancing exercises.
• Develop long-term financial forecasts and strategic planning models.
• Evaluate capital allocation decisions and investment returns.
• Monitor financial and operational performance of portfolio companies.
• Analyse key financial metrics, KPIs, and value creation initiatives.
• Prepare periodic performance reports for management and investors.
• Support portfolio companies on budgeting, financial planning, and operational improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• CFA, CA, CPA, or MBA qualification is advantageous.

Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Transaction Services, M&A, or Strategic Finance.
• Experience in evaluating investments and executing transactions.
• Strong understanding of valuation methodologies and financial modelling.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
