Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore is seeking a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to build long-term relationships with corporate clients and deliver tailored financial solutions.

You will work with product specialists to identify opportunities across Singapore, Indonesia and overseas markets, manage credit processes end-to-end, and drive revenue growth through proactive client engagement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of corporate banking experience with large corporates.
  • Strong credit, analytical, and financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage in business development to grow and acquire clients and manage a corporate portfolio to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with overseas colleagues to identify opportunities across Singapore, Indonesia and international markets.
  • Independently manage the full credit process: pitching, term sheets, pricing, credit reports, loan docs, monitoring, reviews, and account opening.
  • Set and drive account strategy, deepen relationships across the portfolio.
  • Engage with clients to structure financing solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Prepare credit proposals and reviews with in-depth risk analysis and follow-through on submissions.
  • Handle legal documentation with internal/external counsels and credit administration.

You'll need to build strong relationships with our clients, identify new business opportunities, and work closely with our product specialists to deliver innovative solutions. Your ability to communicate effectively, think strategically, and work collaboratively will be key to your success.

What you do
  • Proactively engage in various business development efforts to grow/acquire clients, handle a portfolio of corporate clients, to drive revenue growth.
  • Work closely with overseas colleagues to identify and crystallise opportunities across the entire value chain in Singapore, Indonesia and overseas markets.
  • Independently manage the full spectrum of credit process, including new transaction pitching, term sheet drafting, price setting, preparing credit application report for credit approval, loan documentation, post disbursement credit monitoring, credit review, account opening, etc.
  • Responsible for setting and driving account strategy, deepen client relationships for portfolio of accounts.
  • Able to engage in discussions with clients to structure financing solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Responsible for preparing credit proposals and reviews (including preparing of in‑depth credit risk analysis and close follow‑through of the credit submissions) and handling all related end‑to‑end processes.
  • Handle legal documentation including liaising with internal and external counsels, credit administration unit.
  • Monitor and manage accounts actively to ensure portfolio health and take timely and appropriate action when necessary.
Who you are

Minimum 8 years of Corporate Banking experience, preferably in conglomerates sector, MNCs or large corporates. A degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or economics. Excellent relationship‑building, interpersonal, problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively. Strong knowledge of banking products and services. Strong credit, analytical, financial modelling skills. Results‑driven, able to work independently and in a fast‑paced environment. Self‑motivated, proactive, a good team player with a growth mindset.
