Corporate Banking Relationship Manager |Deputy Manager/Senior Officer(Foreign Bank)

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Officer / Deputy Manager for the Corporate Banking Department of a globally recognized bank. This role focuses on origination, structuring, execution, and maintenance of lending relationships with targeted corporate clients. Reporting directly to the Corporate Banking Team Leader , this position offers strong career growth opportunities, including the potential to be groomed for a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate, structure, and execute loan transactions (bilateral, club, or syndicated) for Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan-related entities across Asia .

• Provide a full suite of corporate banking products , including banking accounts, trade finance facilities, bilateral RCF/TLF, syndicated loans, and risk participation loans (funded and unfunded).

• Prepare detailed credit applications in Mandarin , including financial analysis, credit risk evaluation, and annual account reviews .

• Perform continuous account monitoring to maintain a robust and profitable portfolio .

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand and diversify the Corporate Banking Department’s client base .

• Work closely with Risk Management, Legal & Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and other internal stakeholders to ensure swift approvals and smooth execution of transactions.

• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit, compliance, and lending guidelines .
  

Requirements

• Fluent in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken) to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher , preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business .

• 4 to 5 years of solid corporate banking experience in an international bank, with a strong focus on Asia-based clients .

• Strong business acumen and deep understanding of corporate banking products , along with a keen awareness of regional market trends.

• High potential for leadership development , with an opportunity to be groomed as a Team Leader .
