Job summary

Pontoon Solutions in Singapore is seeking an Asset Services Officer for APAC to manage Corporate Action events for Equity and Fixed Income products. You will interact with Traders, Clients and stakeholders daily, ensuring accurate processing and timely responses.

The 12-month contract offers exposure to risk controls, process improvements, and cross-team collaboration within a value-driven asset services group.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education with a strong academic record.
• Experience in financial industry with Corporate Actions knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Processing Corporate Action events accurately and timely per procedures and SLAs.
• Managing internal and external stakeholders on Corporate Action issues.
• Adhering to documented procedures, control guidelines and compliance framework.
• Attending to reconciliation breaks in accounts daily.
• Investigating queries promptly and supporting process improvements.
• Participating in project initiatives and taking up ad hoc tasks as required.
• Managing operational risk within the processes.

Job description

The APAC Asset Services department are responsible Corporate Actions events relating to Equity and Fixed Income products. Asset Services Officer will have the exposure to various stakeholder as well as Traders, Stock Loan counterparties and Clients in his day to day for managing various tasks such as Corporate Actions Election management, handling Client queries and breaks solution. This role requires candidate who has aptitude for problem solving, attention to detail and building good working relationship with various internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities:

• Processing of Corporate Action events in an accurate, timely and consistent manner, in accordance with departmental procedures and to the agreed service level.
• Managing internal and external stakeholders on Corporate Action issues
• Adhering to documented procedures, control guidelines and compliance framework
• Attending to reconciliation breaks in accounts on a daily basis
• Ensuring that all queries are attended to and investigated promptly
• Supporting change by assisting in devising and implementing improved processes
• Participating in project initiatives and taking up ad hoc tasks as required
• Managing operational risk associated within the processes

Requirements:

• Tertiary education with a good academic track record
• Experience in Financial Industry with Corporate Actions knowledge preferred
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
