Job summary

RTX is seeking a Diploma-qualified Continuous Improvement professional to lead Ops excellence initiatives at our Singapore site. You will drive process optimization, develop dashboards, and automate reporting using Power BI and the Power Platform.

The role requires collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver measurable efficiency gains. Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies is essential, with hands-on VSM, RCA, and process-mapping skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 2–5 years in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Data Analytics, Digitalization, or a related environment.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Hands-on experience applying Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, Process Mapping, Standard Work, and Visual Management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform to develop dashboards, automate workflows, digitize processes, and support operational excellence.
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills using Excel and Power BI and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Use CORE and in-house programs to achieve EH&S, Quality, and Customer Satisfaction goals.
• Train teams on CORE and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead CORE Council reviews and support sub-committees.
• Collaborate with Operations and cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions.
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, KPI scorecards, and reports to provide actionable insights.
• Support digitalization and automation initiatives using Power Platform to streamline processes.
• Collect, transform, and analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Develop simulation models (FlexSim or similar) to evaluate processes and capacity.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver digital solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.
• Maintain strong communication and work effectively both independently and in a team.

What You Will Do

• Able to use continuous improvement tools and in-house program (CORE) to achieve organizational excellence in terms of EH&S, Quality and Customer Satisfactions.

• Train and prepare teams on continuous improvement program and in-house program (CORE)

• Lead/ participate in TOS CORE Council reviews.

• Support CORE Sub-Committees activities.

• Partner with Operations and cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, develop and implement sustainable solutions, and monitor improvement actions that support business objectives.

• Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, KPI scorecards, and performance reports to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision making.

• Support digitalization and automation initiatives using Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Query, Power Apps, and Power Automate) to streamline business processes, improve reporting efficiency and enhance operational visibility.

• Collect, transform, validate and analyze operational data from multiple sources to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for process optimization.

• Develop simulation models using FlexSim or similar simulation software to evaluate manufacturing processes, capacity, resource utilization and operational improvement opportunities.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop digital solutions that improve operational efficiency, automate manual processes and enhance user experience.

• Highly motivated individual who is meticulous, possesses good interpersonal andcommunication skills and able to work independently in a team.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Diploma in Industrial Engineering preferred. Other related engineering or technical disciplines will also be considered.

• Preferred 2-5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Data Analytics, Digitalization, or a related operational environment.

• Entry level is welcomed

• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving methodologies.

• Hands-on experience applying Continuous Improvement tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Process Mapping, Standard Work, and Visual Management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Query, Power Apps, and Power Automate, to develop dashboards, automate workflows, digitize business processes, and support operational excellence initiatives.

• Strong data analysis and visualization skills, with experience developing Power BI dashboards, KPI scorecards, and performance reports using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.

• Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

• Experience with FlexSim or similar simulation software to model, analyze and optimize manufacturing processes, material flow, production capacity and resource utilization.

• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and their application in process improvement, data analytics and business process automation.
